the world
Burmheal is a youth-led non profit from Myanmar dedicated to making cancer care more human, compassionate, and accessible, especially in hospice settings. Founded on the belief that healing is more than medicine, we aim to grow a network of volunteers, students and medical allies working hand in hand. At Burmheal network, we believe that small acts of kindness can offer enormous comfort in meaningful ways.
“It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving, but like morning light it scattered the night and made the day worth living.”

FAQs
How are the donations used?
The donations we receive will be allocated and mobilized to hospices in California & Myanmar. For instance, we aim to support cash donations to hospices in hopes of increasing medical supplies, support services & operational needs. For further reference to the specific needs of our partners, please visit the “Donate Now” page.
How do I know my donation is making a difference?
Many hospices will offer annual or quarterly impact reports detailing fund allocation and outcomes, personal testimonials from patients and families you’ve helped, donor newsletters highlighting stories of renewal, comfort, and community care.
AND PLUS, check out our donation history in the “Donate Now” page! Donors will also be receiving audited certificates from us.
Do you accept in-kind donations?
Yes, we do! Find your local Burmheal network donation drive program while staying updated with our ‘Donate Now’ page. This will confirm what types of items or services are most needed at that time. For instance, non-monetary donations could include comfort items ranging from soft blankets to toiletries kits, food or meal vouchers for patients and families & medical supplies.
How can I partner with your foundation?
If you’re a hospice, clinic, nonprofit, school, youth initiative, or health-focused organization interested in collaborating — we’d love to hear from you. Whether you’re looking to host a workshop, co-lead a project, or amplify shared missions, we welcome meaningful partnerships that align with our values.
